Whats affecting liberty in NEW.
It seems like everytime you turn around local government in N.E.W. is not acting in the best interest of the general public. We have smoking bans being proposed and enacted in our communities. Restraunt and bar owners in Appleton are not too happy with them, those in other Fox Valley communities like that Appleton has a smoking ban.
There is always a new redevelopment efferts going on in Appleton, Green Bay Marrinette and Oshkosh. It seems every redevelopment effert just leads to the need for a bigger and costlier redevelopment effert.
The Green Bay School District is adding a new school. The plan to remap the school boundries seemed to have good intentions and a sound plan on how it should be done however in the end their spoke system breaks up communities, is not bussing efficent, and prommises more confusion when the next school is added.
